IKPONMWONSA

Mr Ikponmwonsa Okundigie was born on the 14^th of December 1985 in Benin- City, Edo State to Engr & Mrs A.S Okundigie. He had his early education and growing up in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria.

Mr Ikponmwonsa Okundigie holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Banking and Finance from the Covenant University in 2009. He did his National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) with Chineson Star Design Concept between 2009 and 2010. He also attended Coventry University, United Kingdom and obtained an M.Sc. in Oil and Gas Management. While studying in the UK, he obtained a certification from the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). He began his career as a Financial Administrator in Log Petrochemical, before joining Springfield Ashburton Limited where he worked as a Business Development Executive/Finance Officer 2014 and 2017. He is presently the Business Development Personnel/Crude Oil marketer for Arkleen Oil and Gas Limited.

In 2013, Mr Ikponmwonsa, was a team leader for implementing Quality Management System for North Star Oilfield. He is a crude oil marketer with prerequisite certification and outfield pedigree in crude oil and gas trading. He has in the last 6 years, traversed the entire value chain of the crude oil and gas trading. He is a motivated, hardworking and a team-oriented individual, both in personal and professional arena with an impressive curricular background.

He has excellent analytical skills in analysing the oil market with strong understanding of the oil industry. He further designed and developed a template that can be used to track all sales and purchase of all cargoes to reputable off takers to drive the growth of the company’s business. He was also part of the team that compiled all contract bid for Sales and purchase of Crude Oil Lifting and Direct Sale, Direct Purchase of Petroleum Product (DSDP).

Mr Ikponmwonsa Okundigie is a member of many professional bodies, including Society of Petroleum Engineers, Association of International Petroleum Negotiator. In the quest to develop local capability in the petroleum industry, he is presently the Chairman/CEO of NEPSA Limited and Tanik Energy Limited among others.
